School Council
The main aim of the School Council is to help to make our school a better place for the children and to give us an opportunity to have our opinions and ideas heard. Each class from Year 3 upwards has two representatives who are elected every year.
At the first meeting of the year the important roles and jobs are selected and all the teachers help to conduct the meetings on a rota system.
The class representatives tell the children in their classes what has been discussed at each meeting and the children can ask the representatives to take forward their ideas to the next meeting.
This year our School Council are raising money for the Bethany Project in Tanzania. Their first fund-raising project to raise money for Bethany by holding a penalty shoot out at our Christmas Fair and a non-uniform day in the summer term.
Our school council members this year are:
Year 3: Rory Cahill and Lottie McCann
Year 4: Zachary Coleman and Aubrey Dodd
Year 5: Joe Gregg and Ruby Hurran
Year 6: Isabel Webb, Zoe Blackadder and Jacob Chapman
